ABOUT ME

I’m Antonia Wesley, a behavioural psychologist based in the Scottish Borders and providing services throughout Scotland.  Working with children and adolescents, I focus on communication, social, emotional regulation, academic and play skills. Since 2008 I have worked in schools, nurseries and private homes providing behaviour analytic services in the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand.

I love helping individuals vocalise their first words, develop friendships, learn new play activities and reduce challenging behaviour. Overcoming these barriers can enable individuals to have meaningful experiences in school, social and home environments. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, social difficulties, speech delays, autism spectrum disorder, downs syndrome, gifted and twice exceptional children. However, I believe that getting to know a child as an individual is essential.

I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, member of the UK Society of Behaviour Analysts and a PEERS Certified trainer.  I hold a BSc in Psychology and Statistics, a Masters in Special and Additional Education Needs, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. My waiting list is currently full.
